Women's Bible Study

Monday Mornings: 9:30 AM - 12:00 & Monday Evenings: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM - Studies begin October 3, 2011

Come join us in the study of Gods Word. We will be starting on Oct. 3rd and go through May 24, 2012. We will be studying the psalms of faith and the hall of faith on Hebrews 11. A great opportunity to study and learn in our understanding of the word of God together. Desiring and increasing our love relationship with the Lord and love for one another. Also, a time for fellowship, prayer and encouragement with your fellow sisters in the Lord. God's command to us is that we shall love the Lord our God with all our hearts, with all our soul and with all our mind and love our neighbors as ourselves. Matt 22:37-39

Youth Group

Starting  Wednesday, September 28th from 7-9 pm
After a short break we will restart Youth Group, joining Middle and High School together for Fellowship, Worship and a message from God’s Word.

Middle School

We meet during second service on Sundays at the church. We have a fellowship night the last Friday of every month(excluding November and December). The fellowship night consists of bowling, skating, laser tag and similar activities. Once a quarter we have some type of community outreach designed to stretch the kids and bless people. Various other events occur throughout the year that we participate in. These basic exercises are designed to accomplish the goal I have for the group. Which is; learn to pray, worship and fellowship in the Name of Jesus. Generally, for all the kids I help them begin to own their faith, read the Bible and to hear from God for themselves. My other mission is to make each youth comfortable enough to share with others and to identify opportunities for spiritual growth. My goal is that all the kids reach their highest potential in the time that they are with me. I do all this to glorify God and make disciples of Jesus.

Food Pantry

If you or someone you know needs help, the Food Pantry is open on Sundays and on weekdays by appointment. Call the church office or see Earlene for more information. Donations gladly accepted - bin in lobby.

The Baby Storehouse

The Babies Storehouse is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Portland that partners with Love In The Name of Christ of Greater Beaverton (Love INC). Love INC is an umbrella organization that joins together local churches like Calvary Chapel Portland, mutually seeking to bless those in need in our community.

As our name implies The Babies Storehouse keeps on hand goods for babies and young children to age 3. We welcome quality donations of all things ‘baby’ from baby food and diapering needs, to clothing and baby appliances. We are also able to procure some items from a local organization that collects children’s goods.

Those who would like to receive goods from The Babies Storehouse can call Love INC at (503) 336-5946 Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Love INC sends us contact information of those seeking baby items, and we make appointments to meet with them at our church. Those seeking to donate quality baby items can call Calvary Chapel Portland at (503) 644-0869 at any time and leave a message.

Homeless Ministry

Providing care and support to local homeless youth. Getting involved with the individual youth to begin a healing process both physical and spiritual. Showing how the love of Christ compels them toward redemptive living.
